ABOUT ME
I am a visual artist and a printmaker. My production consists of printmaking, ceramic sculptures, drawings, paintings and illustrations. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in 2006. I live and work in Eastern Finland.
I have held extensive exhibitions in Finland and my works have been exhibited abroad, for example in Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Estonia and Poland. In 2007 I won the first prize at the Nordic Printmaking Triennial in Holbaek, Denmark.
In my art, I explore the world through a psychological, intuitive and fairy-tale perspective. The subconscious and the unconscious are strongly present in my works. The serial, broad themes of my works form wholes that intertwine into a unified world.
